Recap: Information Session “How to Apply Successfully for Your Study Abroad Semester”
On 11 November 2025, the information session “How to Apply Successfully for Your Semester Abroad – From Moveon Application to the Selection Process” took place. Many Bachelor’s and Master’s students joined the event to learn more about requirements, procedures, and helpful tips for planning a study abroad semester in Winter Term 2026/27 or Summer Term 2027.
Dr. Tatjana Samostyan (Erasmus Coordinator, Faculty of Humanities) and Ms. Marilena Wiegmann (International Office) guided participants through the key steps of the application process. Topics included formal requirements, the selection procedure, important deadlines and documents, language requirements, and how to navigate the Outgoing Portal (moveon4). Students also received practical advice on writing a strong motivation letter.
During the open Q&A, participants were able to address individual questions ranging from programme-specific conditions and country preferences to organisational aspects of preparing for a semester abroad.
